Visual, performing and musical arts are a core component of a Christian, classical education. For this reason, arts at Veritas are not an extracurricular activity but rather integrated into every subject.
In addition, Veritas has a daily choir class called Schola Cantorum. In this class, students will learn to read music, understand the art of harmonic singing and be saturated in the history of Western sacred music. Our school choir book, Hosannas Loud Hosannas, is a beautifully illustrated, heirloom quality reference work covering not only hymns themselves but also providing biographical and historical details surrounding each selection's composition.
As an optional after school activity, Veritas also offers a drama program that produces two short plays each year, helping our students learn confidence in front of audiences.
