Miss Ishee is a dedicated educator with a passion for inspiring students both academically and spiritually. A graduate of Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Miss Ishee has spent over three decades shaping young minds. Her teaching career spans 11 years in Private Christian Schools and 8 years in public education, where she has impacted students through her engaging and faith-filled approach. In addition, she served as an instructional coach for two years, mentoring fellow educators, and has provided private tutoring for over 35 years.
Each summer, Miss Ishee also teaches swimming to more than 300 children, turning fear into confidence and water into a place of fun and safety. A strong advocate of Classical Education, she treasures the opportunity to integrate Biblical principles into her teaching, helping students understand God’s purpose for their lives. Her greatest joy is unlocking a child’s love for learning and watching them grow in both knowledge and faith. One of Miss Ishee’s guiding life mottos is: “Good, better, best. Never let it rest, until your good is better and your better is best.”
